Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4470 Posts	Posted 11/24/2015 3:44 pm When I look at your coin dipped in Acetone, it took off almost all the natural surface. I have been using Verdi-Care on Buffalo nickels, and it leaves most of the natural surface. I would have liked to have seen your coin dipped first in Verdi-Care and if it did not work, then, go to Acetone. The coin looks like it has been dipped or cleaned, so there is going to be exposure to a details grade. I liked the original surface better except for the spot on the reverse next to the five.
