Ok. A small point of order: Please reference Page 1 of this thread. It lists the schedule we all post our coins. The 3 Cent Nickel coins are scheduled later in this process!  Still, VERY nice coins!!

Not sure how I missed seeing this one start a few days ago, probably just busy at work - holidays and all...  My first 1869/8 (so called over date) disproved to be an over date by Frank Leone, later die states are really hard to find, with the die crack going through the base of the date. I have several of these now, a few are slabbed, (all with the late die crack) plus I have a few EDS before the die crack fully formed. Early Die State, showing the repunched date nicely (too bad it's been graffiti scratched with a big X on the obverse shield.
