I only took film photos because good digital cameras were not yet available. The biggest problems with film closeup/macro photography are the lack of live view for accurate focusing, and lack of immediate feedback so the photo can be taken again with adjustments. All my film coin photos are fuzzy, some moreso than others. White balance is often poor, and many of these photos are not exposed well. - - - - Notice how much more detail is visible in the replacement digital image for the reverse: Report this Post to the Staff
