Thank you very much, Steve and Dohcollector! I really appreciate the comments.

fourth one down...appears to be the unusual head gear...

Actually, Steve, I think what we see is the norm. However, the top hooks of the tiara are most often cropped off of these types of tets - so it's a bit unusual to see the whole crest left intact as with that fourth one.

For comparison, here are another two, with top hooks intact, from my collection...although these are, unfortunately, not ex-Sellwoods like those above:

By the way, I've been occasionally checking in on your Parthian drachm collection over at Forum...it's looking great!

Bob,

I guess I just have to save up for a few tets! Thanks for your positive feedback about my gallery. It's small and growing slowly. I've got one to add and am looking forward to picking up some good stuff at a coin show next month. I also have picked up some Sasanian drachms which, historically, would be a natural progression. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Steve! I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to add a link for anyone who may be interested in checking out your Parthian drachm gallery:

I personally like 79.5, but I would like the more if they were mine. I would expect nothing less from you Boblgases!
