Picked this up today for some silver scrap. I think easy 64 maybe 65. Slight scratch on cheek but not deep just light. Luster is amazing photos don't do it justice, reverse is nicely struck too. What say you CCF? May send it out next time I submit to NGC.

Strike is good so it's going to need booming luster to hit 65 and the obverse doesn't show it. The reverse maybe does; it's a judgement call. A 64 is not worth submitting IMO.

Although the obverse scratch is light, it is in such a prominent position that it would detract significantly on a mint state grade. I really can't see this higher than 63, and I'm afraid that's probably generous.

As mentioned, probably not a first choice for a submission, but if you only paid scrap silver value you stole her.

MS details, scratched. There's a chance it might grade at 62 or 63 if the scratch isn't that bad in hand.

I'm not sure the scratch would doom it to a details grade but I do think it's will hold this coin back from anything high MS ...
So I'm gonna say MS62 maybe 63 on a good day ...

MS-62 maybe. Better photos may show that this one saw limited circulation.
