I see a lot of 35 and 36 Canadian silver dollars in MS for sale on auction sites just wondering if there was a bag or two discovered under a tree somewhere ?

More like truck loads! There will be some really nice material , I just hope there are customers for it all. Next five to ten years will be very interesting indeed.

If you are referring to Canadian Coin, a couple or years ago someone apparently sold them a pickup load of silver dollars and other denominations, most original rolls.

One thing to keep in mind is that these dollars for the most part never really "circulated". They were purchased and put away, although a dollar went a long way in those days.

Another thing is that the 1935's had a mintage of 428k and received special handling in cardboard tubes instead of mint bags. This probably accounts for the significant numbers of MS65's and 66's out there.
