Maybe ask mod to move to US side, I don't think it is severe enough to warrant any real price over face.

Things like this are fairly common. I'd spend it.

The Alphanumeric Plate Number shows this note is a series 2013, Plate Position 17 (serial number location) printed on a 50 subject sheet, and unlike the COPE System that Serialed only 16 notes per half sheet of 32 notes, the new LEPE prints all 50 serial numbers on the sheet prior to trimming...

I have noticed quite a few series 2013 $1.00 notes on ebay being sold as "gas pump" errors where 1 or 2 digits are off a bit.. In my world, I would never consider this, or notes that are not 100% centered when cut, errors...

I've seen this on notes that have been serialed on the new LEPE equipment.

In reference to my post above, I found 2 examples of "gas pump" serial numbers listed today on ebay.
Both notes received the LEPE serial number printing, the 2nd note is a series 2009 $1.00 note.
Both D/C & F/W serialed series 2009 $1.00 notes with both COPE & LEPE Systems.

As you can see, the 2009 note has the same misalligned serial number digit that I find common on the new overprinting equipment now used exclusively on the series 2013 $1.00 notes - (LEPE is also used on 32 subject $20.00 notes)..

Some math is required with the serial numbers to determine what overprinting method was used to match the serial number to the notes Plate Position on 2009 notes...

Why is the last digit on each note higher than the others?
