How did we get a .25 when half dollars are 50 cents?

Did someone cut a half in half and spend it?

Even if it was holed with would still have 47 cents left

I've spent several dollars that I didn't post here, probably around $4. Since I don't remember the exact amount, I'll err on the side of caution and call it $2.

This past two weeks, in our Farmers Markets change and other expenditures I circulated $508 in halves - most of these are in actually giving change in sales transactions.
Also, in the rolls I found 1987D finally as well as several of the 2000's coins, a San Francisco proof coin, two of those colorized coins and a 1966. As a result I now am down to just two "regular" coins to go to complete to 2011. Also in the latest rolls I ended up with two rolls of the post 2001 half dollars, now to pass them on to someone who wants them. All of the coins are circulated but in very good shape.

$91,239 to go... In the last year I have circulated over $10,000 in half dollars.

Spent $21.50 in halves at Walmart on some donuts for my main pickup bank and a few other items. They acutally had 2 Golden Buckets in stock But at $74 a bucket I could only justify 1 and didn;t have enough coin on my at the time.

Spent $43.50 in halves at the gas station.

Spent $5 in halves on lottery tickets.

Do you know how many halves I could get with $363 million

Spent $6 in halves at the beer store.

$91,163 to go
