I have picked up rolls of both halves and gold dollars. After I check out for good ones, I take a handful with me and meet my friends at our local lounge or cafe. I use them for lunch etc.
One of our favorite waitress likes them and they are good tips also. She buys all I get to save for her kids as they don't get many there and the kids love them.
I just got 10 rolls of halves last night and 5 rolls of dollars to use for our beer days.
I have put quite a few into circulation but didn't see this forum post or I could have put some more on the list.
Sorry for not counting how many I spent, but close to $100. worth

spent $1.50 at Dick's drive in (Seattle folk will know what I am talking about) and $5 for wife's mocha. I do enjoy the expressions of confusion when the young folk are handed the halves.
