Either the dealer thought they were quarters or thought they were no longer legal tender. I must admit I find SBAs the most difficult dollar coins to spend! dollar_coin_dan New Member United States 16 Posts	Posted 08/04/2023 12:24 am Spent a Presidential dollar plus a 5 dollar bill for pizza. The cashier asked "do you have a dollar bill?" When I said "no, but I have a two", he said "a two dollar bill?" and I confirmed, he settled by saying "I'll make it work" Seems he didn't want the dollar coin, but hated the idea of getting a two even more. he still accepted the dollar coin I discretely put an Eisenhower dollar in the tip jar, just for kicks $64,857 to go Report this Post to the Staff
