Denalin New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/20/2017 12:40 pm Made an account just to join this (and the half dollar) project. :) I picked up and spent $164 in these coins (90% of them Prez/Sac, 10% SBA) in the past few weeks. Gave the single Teddy Roosevelt one I found to my friend who's a big fan of Teddy. Two best reactions to the dollar coins: - One guy at a movie theater bar was really thankful to receive a few dollar coins I threw in with my cash and said he collected them, so I bought the rest of my drinks with the coins. - One very young cashier looked bewildered at a prez coin I gave as payment, looked really closely at it, and cautiously put it in the cash register like it was either radioactive or extremely valuable. $86,447 to go. * corrected total Edited by Denalin 08/20/2017 12:44 pm Report this Post to the Staff
