Coin World is saying that it's another enhanced uncirculated NA dollar this time from the San Francisco Mint.

Direct from the Mint: The 2016 American $1 Coin & Currency Set goes on sale at noon Eastern Time on June 16. Price is $14.95. The set includes an enhanced uncirculated 2016-S Native American dollar coin and a Series 2013 dollar note from one of 12 Federal Reserve Banks. The packaging also has a writeup on the history of Code Talkers and their work during World War 1 and 2. Both the coin and the note are only available in this set. The product limit is 75,000 and the household order limit is five.

Quote: This will be around for quite a while.... I agree. 2015's set had 44,344 sold during the first day on a mintage 90,000. I'm glad though that they kept the price at $14.95. That's a nice price for the dollar coin and the dollar note is, well, a dollar note. However, I'm interested to see if multiple Federal Reserve Bank's notes were used. The Mint only stated the sets contain one of the 12 which could mean all 75,000 sets have notes from one bank or they sourced out notes from multiple banks. If multiples are the case, maybe we'll see people trying to collect sets with dollars from each FRB.

I am somewhat excited to get some of these, at least 2 or 3.
Hopefully some of the notes will be special.
Like the 1994 Jefferson set had random star notes.

I wonder why the Mint couldn't get a hold of banknotes from San Francisco exclusively, seeing how the coin is minted there?

I don't get the purpose of attaching a regular $1 bill to a coin just to make it a "set"
Assign different serial number combos or star notes or ANYTHING..something to make it interesting...just drops the cost of the coin by a buck
75k does not make it interesting.....50k would have been high but appropriate....

I'll be getting at least one. These make pretty good gifts / stocking stuffers.

Yup, me too. I like the EF coin
It's just not an "all in" kinda product.
