Ok so I wanted to wait till it was more full but couldnt lol-no clads are in yet(couple are in the mail) and the last 2 silver years left to go but what an album this is going to be looks great on the bookshelf too!
Very nice!

I like how it blends in with the books. Took me more than a second to find it. Perhaps the Eisenhower dollar album was distracting me.

Searched through a bag of 100 quarters I got from a grocery store customer service counter today. Nothing interesting cropped up.

Oldest: 1970 Washington-D in mediocre condition
Newest: Smokey Mountain 2014 in good shape

Breakdown:

Washington quarters: 57
State Quarters: 40
America the Beautiful Quarters: 3

I found it interesting that there were so few ATBs. I have been wanting a complete set from circulation but they seem pretty rare around here. TONS of State Quarters usually, although this bag seemed to be heavy with Washingtons (most from the 1990s) but few ATBs. Anyone else notice that?

I've been keeping the few that I get from circulation. I have maybe a rolls worth at best. Not sure why I'm even keeping them

If they're shiny and new, why not? One roll is only $10.

Actually FDR I'm finding few ATB Quarters in circulation and I looking through pocket change and cwr's. I'm trying to put together a circulated set without much luck. I beginning to think that this series is mostly a NIFC set. But I find that a little bit unbelievable.

In Southern California ATB Quarters are abundant. Putting together a circulation set is relatively easy to do. However, I must live in a "no fly zone" for anything made in Philadelphia. 9 out of 10 coins (any series), are from Denver. And yet, we hear from CCF members who live in Denver, and they are getting P-mint coins. Go figure!! Jack

Jack, I posted something about D coins being on the west coast and P on the east this last summer. There is some crossover naturally, but when I lived in Los Angeles it was mostly Denver, and when I lived in Boston it was mostly Philly. It makes sense but is still interesting to track.

Mayflower2020 - I guess we'll need to find collectors on opposite coasts to trade D-Mint coins for P-mint coins (and vice versa). Where I live (near Riverside) there are no local coin shops or clubs.

There actually is one coin shop in Riverside but the owner is really quirky. If he likes you, he might help you find something, if he doesn't (for whatever reason) like you, he doesn't even acknowledge that you're in the store. His store isn't much of a resource. I don't know how he stays in business.

Another option is to purchase through mail order. But then you're paying shipping fees plus a premium for common coins. Jack

I keep them if they've in great condition from change that I get. I only have about $20 of them.

Mayflower - very nice quarters. The fact that you got them in change makes it that much sweeter. Jack
