Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 12/22/2015 10:39 am I've seen split-planchet errors that look like this. Check the weight; that type of error coin would have a weight much lower than that of a normal nickel (5.0 grams). A completely grease-filled die might also be the explanation. In that case the coin's weight would be normal. Let's see some sharper photos! Report this Post to the Staff
