jjwabraham Valued Member United States 288 Posts	Posted 01/04/2016 5:23 pm I was in initial agreement with acloco at AU58, I was certain there was a rub on the lock above the ear, slight wear on the upper hair detail, and some wear om the high points of the log. Nice luster and toning, but I still can't get my head around a 64 or 65. Maybe it's just flatness of strike. Report this Post to the Staff

CoinHunter3 New Member United States 31 Posts	Posted 01/05/2016 09:29 am I was also confused about the ms 61 grade. There is some discoloration in the toning on some of the high points, but under magnification it does not appear to be wear, so I'm wondering if it might just be a slightly weaker strike. NGC must have come to the conclusion it was not wear to give a MS grade, but I'm not sure what held them back to a 61. Report this Post to the Staff
