One guess was close and I may have to give a second prize as a technicality but was not the answer I was looking for. Will explain who once the contest is over. Thanks everybody for playing so far. No winner yet. There will be a hint on Sunday if nobody guesses it by then.

As far as I read it their are only 2 family's or 4 names that are possible and both have been named, so I will wait and see if I'm right.

John and Priscilla Alden. She was Priscilla Maddocks before marriage. I only know them because I also am a direct descendant. Don't know any others but not many survived that first winter. Congrats on your #250

Congrats Csotus. John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley is cotrect.
She was just a girl on the voyage and they married years later and had 10 children all of whom made it to adulthood. (Lots of decendents)

Technically I suppose that John and Joan Tilley being Elizabeths parents also are my decendents but I often overlook them as they died just a few months into arriving in Plymouth. But will send a prize for that guess as well.
Thanks everybody for playing. Pm me your address if you were one of the two winners.
