Women On Banknotes

Lesya Ukrainka, born Larysa Petrivna Kosach (1871 - 1913) was one of Ukrainian literature's foremost writers, best known for her poems and plays. She was also an active political, civil, and feminist activist.

Ukraine, banknote of 200 Hriven issued in 2014:

Golda Meir (1898 - 1978), an Israeli politician who served as the fourth prime minister of Israel from 1969 to 1974. She was the first woman to become head of government in Israel. Here is a banknote 0f 10 New Sheqalim first issued in 1985. It replaced the banknote of 10,000 old Sheqalim shows same designs from both side:
