Good eye and interesting ..... Could be a small transfer crack issue on the corners on certain letters or just the way that particular die was pressed that day or run .....

Whatever happened interesting - You have a keen eye!

Note the rest of the devices are showing machine damage. So the notching might be from that?

Thanks all. What type of error/variety would it be called then? I see the machine doubling/damage, but I read that it does not cause notching. I am curious of what it is now.

It may be a minor DDR with MD. That happens.

Oh ok. Yea I think that seems like a probable scenario. I clearly see the notching and the md like you said. There are none listed for this date on CONECA, so would it be more desirable than another minor doubled die?
