I just got back from a gun show, and I bought a 2 dollar bill, I paid 4 dollars for it (hopefully that was what it was worth!), and the guy that sold it to me said it was one of the first printed, I looked at the serial number and it didn't look real low, but I bought it! What are all of the stamps on it? What do they meen? Is this because of it being an earlier print?
This is a first day of issue thing that the USPS and the US Mint put together. I don't think there is anything to the "one of the first one printed" part unless you consider that it was one of the first ones out of the giant batch they printed when the released the $2 bill. I don't think there's a huge market for these things, but it's worth at least $2, so for four bucks, you did fine.
