Hi everyone found this today and picked it up for a dollar, it has a line at the very bottom across Lincoln, it doesn't appear to be a scratch what do you guys think. Thanks for your help. The guy thought it was a proof, I don't think it is.

I agree with you that it doesn't look proof, too many bag marks in the fields. Still a very nice coin for a buck, that's for sure. Hard to say what the line is from the pic. Does it look like there is residue like a piece of tape may have been across it at one time?

No it doesn't have any residue from tape on it.
