The philadelphia mint issued Half Dimes with and without drapery in the year 1840.

Can you guess how ANACS graded this 'with-drapery' example?

Solid 55. The luster is hard to determine but the natural skin is impressive.

Nice example of a tougher type for that year. AU-55 would be my guess.

No, they all look like that, the darker toning colors in the details might make it look a bit odd, but the details are normal.
