ageka Pillar of the Community Belgium 2078 Posts	Posted 11/06/2005 12:16 pm quote: Originally posted by Morgan Fred I don't get it. Gold is about $455 per ounce at the moment, most of these coins are 1/2 ounce, but they seem to be selling only at about or below bullion (although I don't think they're 24K). Why aren't they at least being bought strictly for their gold content, if not for their intrinsic value as really nice collectibles? What am I missing? Gold in euro is at about 195 euro per half ounce for the moment and the coins sell at around 210 so that is like 7% over gold value at least 200 euro is a fairly good price for a proof half ounce plus postage yesterday a canadian constitution coin with box and certificate went for 188 euro only Report this Post to the Staff
