Rotated Die On 48 Cnd Silver Dollars Worth Extra Value Or Not?

john100 Pillar of the Community Canada 5324 Posts	Posted 02/15/2016 08:08 am I've been waiting to see an example of 45% to 90 or 180 version with many 20 to 30% out there the loose die must of produced such coin, most of the time the coin sells for no added value, but in hard holders it's so easy to see. punman Pillar of the Community Canada 849 Posts	Posted 02/15/2016 10:02 am If that was an AU55, then I saw that too. I have been tracking '48s on ebay for the last two years and that is the highest price for an AU55 auction in that time. It did not say rotated on the holder so I took that as not a major rotation. All 1948s have crept higher in the last year but it looks like some person was willing to pay extra for that feature. Personally I'd have taken a regular MS60 for the same money.
