First - I apologize for reviving a relatively old thread, but my question goes straight to the title of the thread -submitting notes to grade.

So the thread talks about what notes to submit - and what to look for. However, as someone that has never submitted paper to a TPG - How do you ship it, is there a form and specific packaging they require? To be more clear -I looked on PMG for instructions of how to ship it and I did not find any - and I could have very easily overlooked the link. The coin TPG's have very specific instructions about how they receive the coins.

Anyone have steps for that?

Maybe this will help. This is from the PMG website;

Thank you Steve ... as I said I must have missed it. I was all over the site and apparently was not paying enough attention to get there. I appreciate the reply.

Like I mentioned earlier in this thread...If you choose the cheapest route with PMG you will wait, wait, and wait some more! This weekend will be 3 months since the date I submitted!! I sent another batch a few weeks ago and I am just hoping to have those back before flowers start to bloom!

I have heard PCGS is the same so you really don't have much of a choice.

Economy route with a coin takes NGC 3 weeks...Economy route with a note takes 3 months minimum.

For world notes PCGS Currency is much worse, I had a submission of 15 world notes take over 6 months to get graded!

I just checked my last submission to PMG earlier this year.

I submitted 10 notes (economy) to PMG, and it shows received 06/27/16 and shipped 08/15/16. It took 35 week days total. I'm not saying it doesn't take 3 months, all I'm saying is that was not my experience. I also had 2 others submissions to PMG this year and the results were similar.
