I get dollar bills like that from one of my pickup banks pretty frequently, not a surprise since it's right across from a senior living center! Still, that's a really nice find and I would personally hang onto it since it's in such good condition!

That bill is as old as I am. It looks very nice. Definitely a keeper.
Rest in Peace

I don't know if there is much premium value for it -- it does have some folds, but still, it is a lot of fun to find a note that old and I would keep it.

Nice find and glad it has a good home!

Nice pickup. As mentioned, in that condition it will carry a premium. The left corners look like they may be a little bumped (could just be the photo) but regardless, it's a keeper in my book.

If you collect notes from circulation, then this is a small treasure. I'm guessing this note was socked away for many years and recently released back into circulation. Personally and respectfully, I would have no interest in the note, but I could see where a collector that collects circulated notes would find it very attractive.

Cool find indeed.

For a dollar, it's a good pickup.

If it was a $100 bill I would have spent it, because there is nowhere enough notaphilic % premium over face value.

That is why low denomination notes are more popular to collect.

I doubt it will ever be worth very much, but the memories are what count.
