I started looking at Canadian coins looking for dots and thousands of coins later I've realized there are dots all over the place. The majority of the the dots are Post Mint Damage( PMD). But you'll also find real die chip dots too if you look enough. Happy hunting! Report this Post to the Staff

As a matter of fact, there's a dot the same size directly above the 3 and 9, and also just here and there all over the coin. These spots can be created from rusted dies, all sorts of things, but in order for it to be the real deal, has to be intentional & in the exact same spot as the ones that exist.
