Next week, my school is holding a change drive to benefit some school in Kenya. Last year the turnout was pretty good. This year, as a sophomore, I'm a member of NHS (National Honor Society) and was able to volunteer to help count the coins next Friday. I don't see why they wouldn't let me trade out coins, so I'll bring some rolls with me for swapping. I figure there ought to be something good if the students are all dumping their change jars. I'll post here if I get anything good!

I also want to check if they'll be dumping the coins at the local BoA, where I have an account. If they do, I may try to get some rolls soon after to look for more goodies.

I wish. For low grade silver, wheats and such, a pocket should suffice for just a couple hours. I'll try to take some Mylar flips with me just to be safe.

Numisma - get a packet of post-its. You can fold specimens up individually and seal them off with the adhesive backing. That's what I do when I find a specimen in change that I don't want keys ruining (and it happened).

For what it's worth, I use a few different color post-its ( Walmart brand) and a pen to wrap and tentatively ID my CRH finds. Later, depending on the color, I revisit the ID and/or move them into flips.

I'm taking $30 in assorted rolls with me tomorrow, as well as some post-its.
