I really appreciate everybody's time in posting the comments , I just decided that I won't buy those unsearched bags of wheats .
I respect the members from this community cause I'm sure they have knowledge in teaching the new collectors like myself , thanks for helping me in save my money and maybe I will invest in some good silvers...
.. have a good week all!

I fell for unsearched lots a few times when I started out. As others have said 90% of them will be 40s and 50s. I did buy one unsearched lot where I got like 8 1909-p and 3 1909-p vbds along with quite a few other less common dates (still no key dates). That seller specifically stated the lot was almost all pre 40s and I think I was just in the right place at the right time. I think you're doing the right thing by putting that money toward some good silvers. Let us know what u end up picking out. Good luck!

It's not possible to separate wheat from memorial pennies without searching them. No one is going to put a 1909-S into a lot except to salt it for the unwitting buyer.

There are exceptions, of course, but they just prove the rule.

I agree with many posters about how they could be unsearched. How do they are all Wheat if unsearched? I think just a come one to buy.
