It looks AU53 to me at best

Difficult to say from the photos, but it looks like he has seen some things in his time. But I have yet to meet an Eisenhower dollar that I did not like.

Obviously lightly circulated, probably in the AU-55 area. But, it doesn't look very attractive with the "lumps" on the obverse and nicks on the reverse.

If the lumps and nicks are too much, I think it would make for a good pocket piece.

Jbuck has a good suggestion. Carry it and play with it and it will probably smooth out rather nicely.
