Are notes that are valued at 25 cents real? I have a US 25 cent note from my grandfather but I am not sure where he acquired it.

ChristinaM, your link didn't post correctly, I think it's because of the (, so I posted an alternate link to the same info.

Also, the library should have books on fractional currency. Most US Paper Money books will at least have a section on fractional currency with basic info.
