I just got a AU 1796 rev 94 Draped bust. Let's be fair -- it nets XF but man its a art piece ! Will post a photo soon.
But one note* How rare is it to find a almost flawless coin like this? Well I did and its Big -- soon when my computer is working I'll send a photo.

Bent up all to heck, but enough detail to tell it is LM-4 (Valentine 3) which rates as Rarity 6. The die break Cud from star 11 to 14 makes it Reiver die state b, so even rarer? Sorry about the blurry reverse.

Those 18th century Draped Bust coins are really superb! That is a set for which it might be possible to collect many of them if you have the money.

Thanks for the welcome! This one shows Liberty's rarely used superpower - X-ray vision.

Sorry forgot to mention - it is a half dollar O-127a. A bit scarcer because the triple break made the obverse die fail too soon. http://maibockaddict.com/1795-o-127...dollar.shtml

A large cent, 1801 with an 1848 countermark. Any ideas of the significance of 1848?

I believe the variety is Sheldon 222.

I don't want this thread to stop (I know, I am annoying) I know that this is not all of the flowing hairs, draped busts, and liberty caps that CCF members own! Bring them on!
