The draped bust is a quarter. I have not yet received the liberty cap yet, but from the pictures it looks like 1795.

A few hole fillers I've bought over the past few days. 1802, 1803, and 1807. Grade opinions and comments on originality welcome. Sellers pics.

It seems really fine Flowing Hair coins are just startling with the wild hair. I think the best coins for the money are the VF type flowing hair dollar and VF. Draped bust 1803-1807 because you can get a coin in that condition for around $2000 and 1807 for even less. I have not checked online recently but looking at the books this is where I come up. Why buy a coin with no detail and almost flat? I just don't see it. What would a VF Flowing Hair dollar 1795 normal date coins go for these days in VF condition. That would be a coin to be proud of and show off to everyone.

This thread is still going? Awesome - I think it could use a little more gold.

ET's coins never fail to leave me awestruck and drooling.

Here's one of my own recent Draped Bust newps.
