Lacking the 1802/1 Bust Right, 1807 & 1812 Capped Bust Left. If anyone has any of those dates, and they look like the 1807 I posted in this thread yesterday, I'm interested.

It hasn't been plugged. Its a variety. The 0.900 fine silver plug was placed in the middle of the planchet to increase the weight before it was struck. Sort of the solution to the opposite problem that adjustment marks were used to solve. This has recently become a very hot variety with big premiums attached to them. You could have bought one 20 years ago with no premium. The seller might not even have known back then. See the faint circle in the center? They stopped doing this after 1795.
