Thanks JB! I've got hundreds of little coins as I started a 'tiny' coin collection a couple years ago and so far have 298 coins. This is a bit of a mess, but appealed to me as it fitted 2 of my criteria, tiny + bird, so I couldn't resist it. I might get an upgrade for it one day. Austria 100 Kronen 1924 #2832 17mm

You do like your birds. That one has seen better days, but I do think it has found a good home.

And to add to the thread, here's a few Roman AE4 nummi from the early 5th century (coin at 9 hours might be late 4th), plus (at 6 and 7 hours) two Byzantine pentanummia from a century later: (Bonus question: can you guess the dates of the nickels?)

Had this for years, earlier today I accidentally discovered that it's a Travancore cash coin (India, 1901-10). Turns out they're pretty cheap and common.

These three German States coins, at 15-17 mm, are just 1-3 mm larger than a US $1 gold coin or silver Three Cent "trime." A Roosevelt dime will completely cover any of them.
