Still some on Kijiji (Ontario) who are holding out for their price but a few have lowered their excpectations. Guy in Oshawa still willing to pay $1500 cash for the first three (?) people who want to sell. That's still a $200 profit.

Come Christmas time, I think things should heat up a bit on the gold deltas. Right now, I see a lot of graded deltas being listed at auction on ebay, and with all the other listings on there at the moment, prices were bound to decrease. Sellers who are asking over $2500 are out to lunch. Buyers who are paying over issue price are less likely to throw their coin back on ebay since their profit margins would be small. They would have to either increase their price over what they paid or take a loss. Once this particular ebay seller runs out of his graded coins, I would imagine the price to trend upwards. Just speculation on my part though, anything can happen with this coin.

There are a few NGC PF69 Star Trek Miror, Mirror coins on ebay. I actually like them a lot more than the First coin issued in the series.

First Star Trek gold Delta to sell below issue price at $1210 Cdn. The seller probably would have done better selling the coin raw.

30 still listed on ebay, 10 of those with BIN or auction under $1600, break even or loss. The gold delta is a good example of what occurs in terms of value when too many are bought for resale. RCM gets a sellout, buyers take the hit.

The delayed delivery evaporated demand...

I also think many potential buyers were irritated to discover RCM sold out without the item ever being available to the public at $1299 issue price. The first listings on ebay $2400 and up.....they shrugged and walked, who really needs it.

Other forum has some list of the recent sales, yes, the prices go down. If you still want, one members sells bit more than issue.
Well, the collectors vote by the dollar. Couple of month awaiting, debates....good for the fans, but collectors express their "No" to such items.

The price for the gold Delta has really collapse with a graded 69 coin selling for $877 + $132 shipping according to the talk from the other coin forum.

Yes, the member followed the MCM auction for PF70 and PF69 coins.
Normally, according to the latest trends, the PF70 would be the keeper, and '69 valued at least issue price. But not in this case: PF70 commanded "weak" premium (better not to keep) PF69 went like "garage sale"
People (collectors , fans) have been overfed with Star Trek themed coins. To be great success, this Delta should be the first one from all the offerings.

@Electrum Totally agree with you....just got my Library of Parliament coins....almost 2 months after release date. Trying to sell for a modest profit (I'm the guy buying/selling coins to pay for the one I want to keep), but sales are moving pretty slowly. "win some you lose some"

Certainly the history of the long delivery times, ie: for some Library, the Delta, most recently and in past the 1st Dino GID and 2 loons coins, in past, play a big factor in future price success

Quote: "win some you lose some" Should be "win little, lose most of the time". Increased mintage, increasing number of releases, lower demand, dealers getting discounts, how can any one make money flipping coins?
