Yes, northcoin, you have the right pair. Obverse 37 and reverse E38e making the die pair PC59-376.

There were a lot of reverses paired with obverse 37. Maybe some of you would like to post photos of other reverses paired with 37.

Correct call on No. 29, Don. The repunching of the GR of GRATIA is about as bold as any repunched letters in the 1859's.
Anyone have any favorite repunched letters you would like to post photos of before we move on to No. 30?

DEVLEC, I remember that second coin from a thread last August. A new variety, I believe!

Is that a die crack at leaf 9? I hadn't noticed it in the earlier photos.

Yes Phil310,

It might be placed "before" the 371 with the E38. I just hope that it doesn't upset the apple cart too much.

..and Yes ..!! That is a small die crack in the leaf 9,....or I've dropped something on it again...


I also love the triple G ..

..but this is always a crowd pleaser...the Quad "C" in Canada..
