Great buy for the price!
I'd consider it melt. Due to the large amount of people who kept these coins as it was a comemmorative year, theres very high quality examples of this coin. Many people I know who don't even collect coins saved these because they liked the animals or thought it was cool.
Also many mint/prooflike sets of this date are present too.
