Welcome to the club!

You are the proud owner of a 1940 nickel, minted in Philadelphia. Aside from the silver 'war' nickels (1942-1945), five-cent pieces from 'Philly' were not made with a mint mark until 1980.

I might add that Jefferson nickels from 1964 and earlier have the mintmark to the right of Monticello, rather than under the date like on those of 1968-present. No mintmarks were used from 1965-67, even for branch mint coins.

The original photo is probably in a folder under "Pictures" on the computer or wherever else you have it saved. When You use the optimizer and then save the photo it will be downloaded to a location called "Downloads". Check for the photo there and post that photo.
