Mint Mark Error On My 1935 Buffalo ?

Dug this up in my yard under a piece of slate in the 70's .It was between the both slate rocks,along with other coins. My question is the mint mark looks more like a 0 than a D.
I took some close ups maybe you guys can tell.

It is a "D".You can see the outline of the letter D up until the knick that pushed into the middle of the D.It is tilted slightly towards the letter "E" in FIVE.

No, it is not a D or any other mintmark. It is just a well-placed PMD divot, a Denver mintmark would be twice that size and much clearer.
