Mint Mark Error On My 1935 Buffalo ?

TimberBass New Member United States 21 Posts	Posted 05/03/2016 3:57 pm Dug this up in my yard under a piece of slate in the 70's .It was between the both slate rocks,along with other coins. My question is the mint mark looks more like a 0 than a D. I took some close ups maybe you guys can tell. Report this Post to the Staff

NDCENT Pillar of the Community United States 530 Posts	Posted 05/03/2016 4:06 pm It is a "D".You can see the outline of the letter D up until the knick that pushed into the middle of the D.It is tilted slightly towards the letter "E" in FIVE. Report this Post to the Staff
