Alvaro77,

I see that you are starting to contradict yourself, your conclusion is that coin collecting is 'dumb', based off the data you collected from this site. You then started to talk about how you enjoy Morgan's/WLH's yourself and would pick them up here and there. I think you may want to reconsider your conclusion.

You also say that "one of each [coin] is enough". Many type collectors take that very same approach to collecting and try to acquire one example of each type to study. A perfect example of this is the Dansco 7070 type album. Would you still consider this type of collecting dumb? Even if all coins were bought on ebay and could be sold for roughly the same amount or even for a profit on ebay at a later date?

Based on his command of the English language, the lack of method, the simplistic 'subject', the prejudice when drawing a conclusion before doing research, the total lack of knowledge about (and interest in) the subject, the fact that everyone not agreeing to the prejudice or starting a slight discussion is 'bullying' (and the use of the word 'bully'), I guess that we're dealing with a 5th grader or so. Don't get too harsh on him, 5th graders are generally still very immature and mentally fragile and very new to the internet. One free piece of advice though, especially for Alvaro77: grow up and deal with it if you want to play in the real world. You'd be very welcome here when you learn how to get past your prejudice and can just discuss things in a normal manner. And good luck with the start of your new dumb hobby! Proof coins are very nice and shiny! :)
