It appears to have a mirror finish that reflects my finger when I'm holding it at one angle, but looks flat like the picture from straight on. After reading about the Special Strikes I've been obsessed with 1964's. Report this Post to the Staff
Jimmyjohns7724 Valued Member United States 198 Posts	Posted 05/20/2016 3:58 pm I played around with contrast of the Nickel and found the polishing to be pretty similar to the 1999 Unfinished Proof Gold Eagle. Ive never seen a coin have the odd polishing marks like this yet and can't explain why it looks to be circulated yet has a near mirror reflection around the outer devices, but the lettering is the same finish as the bust of Jefferson Report this Post to the Staff
