Finally read up on my lighting techniques for proper photography of these coins. Only edit is the vignette to cancel out the white flip. Feeling good about this one.

Yep definitely noticed. Got tired of trying to explain how much my pictures sucked in comparison to the coin haha

Nice pic for sure; I'm assuming this coin is circulated, which it appears to be.

Uncirculated OBW Roll actually. It appears to have a mirror finish that reflects my finger when I'm holding it at one angle, but looks flat like the picture from straight on. After reading about the Special Strikes I've been obsessed with 1964's.

I played around with contrast of the Nickel and found the polishing to be pretty similar to the 1999 Unfinished Proof Gold Eagle. Ive never seen a coin have the odd polishing marks like this yet and can't explain why it looks to be circulated yet has a near mirror reflection around the outer devices, but the lettering is the same finish as the bust of Jefferson

This is from my 1964 mint set in BU to show the comparison I'm working with as far as photos

And this is the entire roll I pulled the one originally pictured from. Hard to catch the toning at dead center in pictures but they're all a nice even gold tone with crazy shine
