Um, don't want to edit, because I'm afraid it will disqualify me, so I'll make a second post: what happens if all three coins that a winner chose are already taken (for whatever reason) - do they win but receive zero coins?

Yes, that's exactly what will happen.
Thus, I don't advise picking exactly the same numbers as any of your predecessors in the same round.
That said, if there are 3 or fewer coins left in the last round, they will be the only possible choice, hence everyone will pick the same combination. In such case, if Randomizer picks you as a second winner, there won't be anything left for you to win.
