In the first of July will be apeared new Belarusian paper money. On the bill of 50 rubles (about $ 25) have found a mistake in the spelling par 50. In 2009, when the Belarusian money were printed, it was the correct spelling. But in 2010, the spelling of the Belarusian language were changed . The head of the National Bank said: " Now We have now time to correct an error, but when bill nominal value of 50 rubles will be overprint , they will be with the correct spelling". Interesting, that when Belarussian coins will be overprinted they will be with current at the time the date (not 2009).

The currency reform definitely sounds interesting, I only hope that the Belarussian goverment manages to keep these new coins in circulation and avoid the last years' massive inflation. I just have to say, as opposed to others here, I kind of like the simplicity of the designs. Also, I really like the banknote designs. The older notes have felt really old-timey and almost "soviet"-styled in their designs, but these are markably different. What are the security features on these? I don't really see what you're getting at regarding the "misspelling". What's supposed to be the correct spelling? When are the old notes supposed to be gone/demonetized? What do you do with obsolete banknotes past this point? Will they completely worthless? Lastly, what seems to be the general public's opinion regarding new notes, but also coins? Do people like carrying around masses of small banknotes? What do you think about all this? Anyway, make sure to post pictures of the new coins and banknotes. I'd love to see actual pictures of the coins to see how they actually look rather than computer-made images. Please, keep us updated

Protection
All the necessary printing methods and protection of money that used advanced countries present in the Belarusian money. On banknotes of 50 rubles was placed additional security element - the mask. Mask - is an integrated unit consisting of two images, made by different printing methods, but at the same paint color. Independently verify the authenticity of the banknotes should be to the touch, to the light and tilt. Pay attention in particular to the watermark, a security thread, a label for people with impaired vision, combining on a gleam image par on the front and reverse of the banknote, tsvetopereremennuyu paint. Genuine coins are different from the fake material quality and precision performance chasing. Genuine coins by hand is impossible to bend. Fake bend and break. Furthermore, the authenticity of the coins can be checked with the help of a magnet: the original very well they are attracted.
