Armed robbers took an unconfirmed amount of money and merchandise from Harold's Coins. Sad. Hopefully the robbers are apprehended and the coin shop can recover from such a traumatic event. Are shop owners permitted to carry in NY or is it some progressive 'utopia' where only the criminals have guns? Report this Post to the Staff

syeb Valued Member United States 282 Posts	Posted 06/22/2016 8:51 pm In New York City only criminals are allowed to have guns. They don't believe in the Bill of Rights here. But elsewhere in NY State it is a little easier for law abiding citizens to own guns. But I wonder if the owner had recorded the certificate #'s of any of his slabbed coins. I would love to see a list posted so we collectors can look out for them and hopeful help catch the crooks and get the coins back to the owner.
