Never heard of Auction Network in CA. How's their reputation? For a high dollar coin I would only buy from one of the big auction houses that regularly handles ancients.

It's just a general auction house...not exactly high end - they auction off anything from random coins, jewelry, prints more than paintings, soapstone carvings, etc. The fact that both the first and last names were misspelled tells you how much expertise they have in this.

still needs a verifiable provenance, not a 'made up' one.

An auction house of the highest reputation would be happy to supply.
