I can't believe the 30S coins. At the show yesterday there was a grand total of TWO coins! Some of the dealers I talked to said they were also seeking 1930S's and commented they are a tough coin. This is shaping up to be as difficult as the 1931D, took me months to find one. Anyhow, I picked this toner over the other coin which wasn't nearly as attactive. This coin also looks completely 100% original, which is exceedingly rare. I'm still seeking an MS64 or better 30S in BU since my old one looks nice, but it appears to have a light cleaning.

Enough of my sob story, LOL. Someone remind me to blow the 2x2 crap off my coins before I take pics:

That's a beaut, Thad. Did you get my email regarding AU/BU 30's?

I think this one could go MS-64, I don't see any large distracting marks anywhere on the coin. Looks well struck and I love the color ! The marks on the lower jacket don't stand out so much with the coloring. Unless there are more hits hiding under that toning, I would give it a 64. Great looking coin !

I'd say MS-63 possible 64, nice strike, and that toning is just beautiful and IMO should command a premium.

Funny thing about this coin, in-hand at a foot or more, it looks fully RED, just slightly dark! There's more red in it than the pics show. I gave this coin an MS63.
