What can prevent/alter/happen to alter the strike on a coin that happen at the mint? (The top 10) But there are more events that do happen at the time of the strike. (Sorry #4 is a post strike event, circulation wear. It does alter the coin, but didn't happen at the mint.)

Seems like I'm not find the doubled dies on the new coin as easily and when I find something, I'm told it is Machine Doubling or DDD. What am I doing wrong?
