Secret Santa Gift from a couple years ago (thanks SeatedNut!) This was the variety that led me down the path of more and more varieties. 1839-O/O 10C RPM 104a

I like this thread a lot. Most of my contributions will be P01-AG3 quality coins. I almost had a mint state 1838-O no stars dime this year, but alas it got away . Here is my best contribution. 1839-O 1839-O G$2.50 PCGS VF-30 A historically significant gold coin, the first gold coin struck in New Orleans, the only Classic Head type to be struck there, and the only quarter eagle to have the New Orleans mint mark on the obverse. A true collector grade piece showing olive-green gold patina. The reverse is rotated 180 degrees (Medal Alignment). Breen 6153. Low date. Survival estimates at 400 total in all grades.

1839-O dime: Like most of my New Orleans coins other than Morgan dollars (even the gold), this one's in pretty poor shape.

1839-O Bust Half Dollar. I understand there are different die varieties for this coin, but I do not know which one this is. Plenty of die cracks, though!

Awesome start! I'll join in at 1879 but until then I'll just enjoy my popcorn and the view(s).

I still need to look .. but I don't think I will have many "O" mint coins until we get to Morgans and Barbers. I have always thought pre 1853 Seated coins were sort of scarce. Interesting to see how may get posted.

I can kick in a few for this one until 1861. Looks like mid die state, GR-1 to me Germanicus. Rarity 1. 95 pct of 1839-O halves are GR-1, according to Dick Graham's book. GR stands for "Graham - Reiver". Another 1839-O GR-1 half dollar...

Just an awesome display of coins being shown. wow that gold and those halves are simply brilliant. And I love the variation of "O" MMs from the small to the large on the dimes and Half Dimes. Here is small contribution for the day. Purchased from a fellow CCF member a few years back and real beauty. My first ever "O" Dime:
