I was wondering if the filled 0 was a common occurrence as on this coin. Also, does this coin have some lamination issue going on? Thanks

The filled letters and numbers are fairly common. The roughed up area above the date appears to be damage. The photo is a bit out of focus, however.

The '0' has a post that forms the inside of that digit device. When this breaks off, then you see it filled. All coins after this post broken off will show that same look. (unless if chips off even more) They are common as mentioned, but know what caused them is helpful.

The other mark does look like a lamination issue. Sometimes they peel off whole, other times like your coin.

They usually run in a straight line.
