Hi Mark,
That was a great question. I am new here so I cannot post links, I'm afraid.
First thing you need to know is the fact that even though people in Denmark and Norway do more conservative grading - in Sweden they are often even more conservative than this. In Sweden what they call 1+ which is VF, could easily be a US MS60-62. There is at least one serious coin club in Sweden (Malmų) - where they grade like this.
To grade modern coins from 1874- from Norway, there is a dealer whom have a www site where the different coins are graded in all grades. There is also another dealer from Norway whom has 'translated' the US grades to Norwegian/Danish on his website.
For coins from Sweden I have not found the same information on a www site, but in the Swedish book "Myntboken", by Archie Tonkin, the grading to their modern coins can be seen on pictues.
For Danish coins, well. There is a small grading book on the market, but it is written in Danish only. On the top of my head this is what I am able to come with for now. It is late here in DK.
- And I am sorry to say my English could be much better.
